I’m a designer and art director based in Salem, MA. I also work as an illustrator and teach at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston.

From 2021-2024, I worked as a freelance Art Director for The New York Times Opinion desk, where I designed the weekly Sunday Review section. 

From 2018-2021, I worked as a freelance Creative Director for Flagship Pioneering.

From 2014-2018, I was Art Director then Chief Creative Officer for MIT Technology Review.

From 2010-2014, I was Art Director at The New Yorker.

My art direction work has been recognized by the Society of Publication Designers, The American Society of Magazine Editors, The Type Directors Club, Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, and It’s Nice That.
